Grad-night Party with my Cali Gals - celebrating 4 years of giggles |
May's been a pretty fruitful – especially now that
school is over and all *YES! 4 years in uni, finally concludes my 16 years in
our local education system! Every local student would be able to identify immediately
with the trying times (read: dark years) we share – hectic schedules, late
nights, occasionally sprinkled with happier giggle-filled moments. You could
describe those 16 years juggling school, work, and frequently-changing
priorities with one word – “busy”. Yet this, I know, has a very different
description of the “busy” fully-adulted Singaporeans would be familiar with.
Time is something which I think we learn to use better as we age. And I’d still
like to believe, as I have through the years, that busy is always good :)
Dress | Love, Bonito Hair | KENJO Salon Shoes | Stuart Weitzman |
Work-wise, I've had a few interesting shoots this
month – including one which involved a human-flatlay! Either way, while it’s
fun to get dolled up with different hair and make up, and try looks I’d never
otherwise know or think about trying, the end-effects do have an accumulative
negative effect on my hair. You name it, my hair’s been through it – teased, Mohawk,
crimped, curled, straightened, bleached, back-combed double over – sometimes a
combination of the above, in one sitting! I like to drop by trusty Kenjo Salon
to fix me when things get out of hand.
A month ago, we did the Tokyo Inkarami Treatment which
had splendid results but this round, we switched things up by alternating with
the good ol' Mucota Scena Plus treatment.
Throwback to when things got steamy! |
What's more - I had Richard Branson's 'The Virgin Way' - for company, before
walking out with a big blowout ;)
MUCOTA Scena Plus Treatment |
The Mucota Scena Plus treatment aims
to invigorate your hair follicles and give you the dream hair you’ve always
seen in the gloss. Be prepared for things to get steamy – powered by nano
technology, this steam-gun goes all over your crowning glory for more effective
absorption of the Mucota serum. The main benefit of this is that it doesn’t
just soften everything for a silky finish – the technology restores and
protects the hair by replacing nutrients our hair lacks. So imagine your dried
hair stands, thirsty and just waiting to absorb all that Mucota goodness. The
three steps go like this:
1.
Adel: Moisture
2.
Brava: Intensive Hair Repair
3.
Calore: Lustre Protection and Seal
(Nuff said, hey?) You can only imagine the immense happiness I had when I’d an early call-time the next day for a photoshoot; and the last thing I’d want was to present myself with lousy dried tired hair. This treatment definitely saved the day (read: the shoot). Can’t wait for you to read all about it – I’ll keep you posted <3
Hair-raising Experience? Justin didn't look too pleased - so I decided to cheer him up. (See next pic) |
